Quick Thoughts

Saw Burn After Reading. Loved it.

Why do I always hear about Republicans trying to disenfranchise voters all over the country, but I never hear that happening from the other side?

Why do the fundamentalist Christians now believe that it's okay for women (or is it just ONE woman) with children to work (in the second highest position in the world, nevertheless) when for years people like Dobson have been telling women to stay home and clean?

The White Sox better not blow this season.

That's all I got.

I Don't Care if the Movie Sucks

Please, Media... Do Your Job...

The Republican playbook doesn't look to have changed one little bit. Anyone paying attention already knows that the nomination of Sarah Palin wasn't done to woo Hillary Clinton supporters. Anyone who thinks that tactic would work are just sexist morons.

Clinton and Palin have NOTHING in common other than owning a vagina and breasts... well... allegedly. Do people really think that there's a significant population of women out there that would vote for a woman just because they're the same sex? The reason those women supported Clinton was because they believed in her policy and felt that she was a good pick for the nomination. Palin's just about the absolute opposite in just about every regard.

The real reason Palin was nominated was to get the wackjob fundamentalist vote. That's it, really. She's an anti-choice, anti-gay creationist.

I don't think it could be any clearer, and it's gonna be interesting to see how much the Republican party keeps her away from the media so she doesn't make an ass out of herself when asked tough questions.

Oh, John McCain... how far you've sunk from respectability.

To the media... you've really done a poor job covering this race so far. Please show some journalistic integrity, would ya?
